Drawings

Drawing is the beginning, the place of origin for visual ideas and their expression. Using a progression of line, shape, and tone a blank surface can become anything and that to me is magic. Drawing is also where most of the hard work comes from creatively, where ideas are turned over, torn apart, and restored, and where the most practice is put in.

I do draw other things than the human nude, but given that many of these images have never been seen by anyone besides myself until recently I wanted to make a selection of them available to the wider public. More work will be added in an ongoing basis but here we will start.
